I’m only 105 and just did the Lights Heart line, but this expac has already made me feel more heroic and less of an aloof character than the past expansions.

It’s less doing chores for quests and single handedly decimating fortresses while your own allies stay in a quest hub, and more actually working with the faction you’re helping and sort of leading them and being an inspirational presence. I dunno how the community thinks, but I like that my protection warrior has actually felt like a stalwart shield wall through the first half of my leveling experience and less like a mercenary with a shield. I hope this trend continues in gameplay where we take a more front and center way of interacting with the people in the story rather than for them. Azsuna and Stormheim are great examples of feeling like youre a part of the story rather than the killing machine that pushed it forward with kill/gather quests.
