Not a major Alliance fanboy, not really a big Night Elf fan, but I have to admitt, losing Teldrassil in Battle for Azeroth is going to be very sad and emotional, in my opinion.

I get there is a lot of focus on getting Lordaeron back, and Night Elves are quickly finding themselves as the "least cared about elf races" now that we have all these new elves in the game, but that zone really is "Warcraft" to me.

I never much cared for Night Elves. Thought they were kind of boring and generic. However I was replaying Warcraft 3 the other day, and I wanted to try out the new leveling system from the Alliance side, so I made a Night Elf.

I've played through the starting zone before, but man it really is one of the best in the game. The music is just so soothing and really transports you to another world. You really feel like you're playing in this big forest. Nothing feels more "World of Warcraft" than Teldrassil in my opinion, and I think it'll be sad to lose the zone.

(I understand that it will still exist for Night Elf starter characters, I'm just speaking of the sentimental aspect of losing it in the lore-world)

Brand new and a little lost

I have always been interested in playing wow but before now never had a pc or money to do so. I have played a lot of blizzard titles, mainly Diablo and hearthstone and recently overwatch. Could someone point me in the direction of what I need to start out, after searching I found a lot of expansions ect that I'm not sure i need or the order in which to get them. Also is there anything worth being aware of starting out? submitted by /u/Charlotte111211 [link] [comments]...
