My Friends and I Ran Ragefire Chasm Last Night, and it Was Enjoyable! Thanks to Blizzard.

My Friends and I Ran Ragefire Chasm Last Night, and it Was Enjoyable! Thanks to Blizzard. You know, it feels a bit odd to say it, but last night our run into Ragefire Chasm was pretty nice! I had honestly never much cared for it even back in Vanilla. it was a necessary evil for low level characters, and up until recently, I would audibly groan when it came up in the queue for a random dungeon. Last night, a few friends of mine wanted to run a dungeon, including a friend who only had a pretty low level cahracter. I hopped onto a recently made level 38 Paladin of mine and said I would tank for them. We queued up knowing we were either going to get Ragefire or Deadmines, so it wasn't much of a shock. I prepared the friend over voice, saying "Well, this instance is pretty ba...

Rare mobs going forward

Rare mobs going forwardI'm sure I was one of many people who was disappointed to see the change from the way rare spawns worked in WoD to Legion. Even though WoD had plenty of problems, the way that Blizzard implemented rare spawns was a stroke of genius. With each rare spawn almost always dropping interesting loot, giving xp equivalent to a quest and often being an interesting vignette of a story I was thrilled every time I saw one on my minimap. Fast forward to Legion and that excitement vanished quickly. Here in Legion rare spawns are boring and normally give no reward aside from maybe a pittance of order hall resources. Now I mostly ignore rare spawns unless they are directly in my path but I long for a re...

I finally got my Werebear! (

I finally got my Werebear! (So ever since they introduced the werebear challenge skin I had wanted it, especially when I learned that they are removing the mage tower. I leveled and geared a Druid and began the process of learning the challenge and grinding out legendaries. Then I was in a horrible car accident that resulted in the amputation of my left arm. I was distraught for numerous reason, but refused to let my new handicap get in my way. Once I recovered and returned to WoW I had to reteach myself the game. I bought a razer naga and set about macroing and modding the game into playability. After many attempts on the most recent Mage Tower, I did it. I almost gave up when Kruul killed me at 1%, but I persevered....

First Aid should have received something to make you immune to being in a fel lake for 10 seconds

First Aid should have received something to make you immune to being in a fel lake for 10 secondsA bit late now, I figure, with Argus on the way out... but the number of times people have taken damage (or outright died) trying to go across a fel lake in Argus... You have a nigh-useless skill with first aid, and it's probably never going to be applicable during combat. But being able to slap on an anti-fel patch to let you cross a fel lake real quick would be actually be a useful item to be able to produce. If I were to pull a recipe out of my greaves: Rank 1: 5 lightweave cloth, 1 empyrium Rank 2: 4 lightweave cloth Rank 3: 3 lightweave cloth Lightweave never got anythong anyway for first aid, so this gives it a use. The recipe I used is based on the silkweave splint, just changed...

Defeat of the Legion (and others) should be an in game special day

Defeat of the Legion (and others) should be an in game special dayI don't know if it's already a thing but we have witnessed some truly amazing things happening during WoW. The opening of the gates of Ahn'qiraj and the defeat of the Qiraji, defeat of several black dragons and Stormwind's liberation, Lich King's defeat and most importantly, the day we earned victory over Sargeras and the Legion. These should be special days! Maybe to honor the guilds who worked hard, the days when the bosses were defeated first (or maybe first in mythic or whatever) can be chosen. Stormwind may celebrate Varian's return while the whole world can celebrate the Legion's defeat. Just make them mini-holidays. I think this would be very immersive and ...

The new leveling changes make this game feel like an MMO again at the lower levels.

The new leveling changes make this game feel like an MMO again at the lower levels.I just had an experience with Yetimus, a three-player quest boss in Hillsbrad Foothills. I tried soloing him on my hunter like 5 times with no success and I finally started asking for help (like it was originally intended) and I found this undead mage. We took turns aggroing, I would feign death and eat to heal back up then reengage and we finally did it after three attempts! That was some of the most fun I've had in WoW, at least during leveling. The challenges feel like challenges again and it is awesome. Not to say there are definitely not areas that need to be balanced, I've met some oddly high hp mobs and bosses that feel unfair compared to the others but overall this is an amaz...
