Just a request to help mourn the loss of a dear friend who loved to play WoW (long read, request at the end)

Just a request to help mourn the loss of a dear friend who loved to play WoW (long read, request at the end)First off, I don't know if this is the right place to post something like this, or if it happens frequently but I figured it's worth a shot. And please forgive me if I end up posting this again at a more busy time. I just want to get this out to as many people as possible Just a week ago, a close friend of my family, Brent, passed away from complications with his liver. He loved to play WoW before his liver started acting up. He would be in his caravan playing constantly. He did well for himself though. Had plenty of friends on the property he lived on, would often come up the hill to the house almost every sunday to be with those he cared about. In his youth, Brent was trucker here ...

Ancient Mana needs to be readily available in more places in Suramar

Ancient Mana needs to be readily available in more places in SuramarThe current way of gaining ancient mana: Server hopping in the Vinyards. This breaks up what should be a reasonable grind to a saturated spot where there is far too many people to sustain. It's not fun at all. It's a race to grab it before someone else does. If the density was similar across the whole of Suramar it would be a lot more manageable. Make mob farming at least viable, for a similar time frame. It's a lot more fun killing things than it is server hopping after all. submitted by /u/scytherz [link] [comments]...

PSA: You can safely delete both "Tear of Elune" and "Stormforged Grapple Launcher" from you bags

PSA: You can safely delete both Both the quest item "Tear of Elune" and the "Stormforged Grapple Launcher" stay in your bags after finshing the corresponding quests. After deleting the Grapple Launcher you will still be able to interact with the hooks in Stormheim and according to a comment on Wowhead a GM confirmed that you won't need Tear of Elune in a later quest: I understand you have some questions regarding the quest that involves the item "Tear of Elune'. I was able to look into this for you as requested my friend:). In doing so I can confirm you did nothing wrong with the quest or anything. There is currently a known issue in which when players complete the quest "In the House...

Reminder to Interrupt in Dungeons Please = )I am pretty sure majority of the community here knows how to Interrupt but please remember that in Legion a lot of the dmg dished out in trash and bosses can easily be interrupted. I find myself as a Prot paladin having to interrupt 1 add, tab avenging shield another, tab back to first and pray my rebuke comes off cd. Example last trash before helya in Maw of Souls. http://imgur.com/a/atm5z Hope these pictures help. Made by members of the Towelliee Gaming Community. Well One is a modified WoWPedia? [Spoiler] About Runas the shamed

[Spoiler] About Runas the shamedRunas was incredibly well done, almost everything he says is incredibly relateable as a former drug-abuser, what he says during his short interaction with our characters i've heard and felt a million times. Maybe not every single word, but the tone of his voice, the scratching of the withered npcs, i just wish he could've stuck around for longer. Here's to you Runas and the people who designed him, no character has made such an impact as he did in my time of playing wow submitted by /u/Kaffering [link] [comments]...

To the people that said WoW was a waste of my time...

To the people that said WoW was a waste of my time...They were wrong. Background: I started playing WoW back in 2006 and was addicted immediately. I loved doing quests, pvp, met nice people while playing, and the occasional weirdos :P. WoW was really fun. As you can imagine, I played for hours on end, but still balanced it by making time to see friends in-person, going to the gym, and eating good foods too. Just with many things in general, it is about balance. Then one day, I met my now fiancé while playing WoW. We met by chance in 2006, and ended up being arena partners (warlock and druid lol). After chatting for hours on end (while playing too). After some time, romantic feelings grew and we decided to meet in person. And what do you kno...

Kicking in dungeons(rant)

Kicking in dungeons(rant)I just joined a random heroic and was greeted with, "Let's hope this one can heal." Which immediately told me that this dungeon was going to be rough. The group I joined into was a guild group so i figured they would know the mechanics of the fight. We get to the second boss in Maw of Souls and we wipe. They immediately blame me for not being able to heal, I told them that they needed to kill the soul fragments or we will all die. So we try again and they still don't kill the soul fragments so we wipe again. They blame me again, then I explain to them that I have never had to pull more than 250k HPS in a heroic and that I can't do anything about them not knowing the mec...

The fact that demons tagged by the enemy faction give you no credit makes zero sense.

The fact that demons tagged by the enemy faction give you no credit makes zero sense. The faction rivalry has always seemed forced to me, but never moreso then in this expansion which starts out with our faction leaders fighting the demons together! But god forbid we do that. Why in god's name would I not help those humans kill that demon? I'm a tauren, we care not for Sylvanas' and Greymanes' petty squabbles, we are here to fight the Burning Legion. At least on a pve server, this faction specific tagging is stupid, frustrating, and doesn't even fit with the lore. EDIT: One of the biggest disconnects for me is; 'Oh you just fought a humongous demon? Well a human touched it first, so you didn't learn anything at all from that fight.' 'I JUS...

Chairs are somewhat forgotten again in Legion

Chairs are somewhat forgotten again in LegionAs a roleplayer, one aspect I've always enjoyed is hanging out in the various taverns in the world of Azeroth, sitting down in the chairs and just hanging out and wasting gold on alcohol. Though since Cataclysm, there's been a trend where they'll place the chair props into the world, but they won't work. They don't possess a right click function that makes your character sit in the chair. Warlords of Draenor was the worst for this. You could build a multi-level tavern in your Horde garrison, and it was filled with about a dozen chairs and not a single one worked. But the War Mill had a single working chair in a random corner. Dalaran has lots of working chairs, but I be...
