Thanks Blizzard!

Thanks Blizzard! My wife and I met playing this game over 10 years ago, we got married almost 5 years ago and have two wonderful kids. Last week I saw someone post their minimalistic artifact wallpaper and we liked the designs so much we celebrated our anniversary with them in tattoo form. (drop me a line I'd love to thank you personally) None of this would have happened if Blizzard didn't make the game we all love. Cheers to you, Blizz. Love ya. https://imgur.com/a/0z2r0 submitted by /u/ShiftyVickars [link] [comments]...

Hey guys. If I created a subreddit specifically designed for people to find other WoW players who are interested in leveling with other players, do you think it would be worth it? Is there an audience for that?

Hey guys. If I created a subreddit specifically designed for people to find other WoW players who are interested in leveling with other players, do you think it would be worth it? Is there an audience for that?Hey guys. I often come here and post threads where I'm looking to make a friend to level with (all my IRL wow friends have given the game up, and I'm a firm believer that the game is only truly enjoyable when you're playing with a friend or acquaintance of some sort), but the thread is always deleted for /r/wow rules and reasons. So, I've come here to ask you guys if you think it would be worth it to make a subreddit specifically designed for people to go to it when they're looking to find others who want to level with new friends. Thanks a lot! submitted by /u/simple_beauty [link] [comments]...

Lowering Level Cap for WoW v8

Lowering Level Cap for WoW v8So we know that Azeroth has been sundered 2 times already. The last time was Deathwing's rage of destruction at the beginning of Cataclysm. Blizzard has also been very strongly hinting, if not basically telling us that the third sundering is upon us. Sargeras is going to rip Silithus apart. Shit is going to go down. It'll be great. Let's say Blizzard goes down a sinilar path to Cataclysm and does a full revamp. Why not chuck all expansions except Legion (or even better, Legion too) into a Caverns of Time situation in which they scale by level (which they've been experimenting with all expansion). Then, they reduce the level cap back down to 70, release a brand new expansion w...

New trinkets are a huge blow to small guilds and casual raid teams

New trinkets are a huge blow to small guilds and casual raid teamsI know I'm not the first to point this out but I feel this point of view is not very vocal on this subreddit: The new trinket system will put a pretty much insurmountable barrier to both small raid teams. As an example, our average raid size is around 12. By itself this has always posed a challenge since many mechanics are tuned to larger sizes, but we welcomed the challenge. Already, we will not be likely to see pantheon buff for a long while after clearing normal simply due to drop rate limits. However, our raid is likely to never see the pantheon buffs due to how strict the composition constraints are - for eg, I am our only plate wearer, and I am the tank. It is extremely frustratin...

The craziest thing happened yesterday, what are the odds?

The craziest thing happened yesterday, what are the odds?Roughly a year ago i ran into a warrior at shrine named Eyedea. This means nothing to most, but being an Eyedea fan (a deceased rapper, hence my username) I made small talk with him, mostly about his name. At the time I was BMAH hunting on my 60 twink, so I was the GM of my own temporary guild <RIP Eyedea> to guild-xfer without gold limitations. Yesterday, I was finishing up my day's work (irl) and was waiting for a shop manager to cut a check. I saw his son (roughly my age, 24) playing WoW on his work computer, so I walked over and said "playing fury I see". This prompted the "yeah I play too, X years" conversation. At some point I leaned in for a closer look, ...

Raider.IO here! We have a lot of updates since our last post and are hyped up about the MDI Grand Finals this weekend. :)Hey again, all - it's been a couple of months since my last update and I wanted to hop back in and talk about what we've been doing during that time. Our site has grown a lot since the beginning of the year, and we owe a lot of that growth to the community here - thanks for getting our name out there and supporting us :)   We are also really appreciative that Blizzard linked to us on their eSports page regarding our coverage of the MDI. It means a lot that they took notice of the work that we put into it: https://worldofwarcraft.com/en-us/news/21035681/mythic-dungeon-invitational-semi-finals-and-finals-this-saturday-and-sunday   It seems like our to-do list only gets bigger...
